Build By Two & One Limited ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Wave mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use Wave.

• Maritime career data — certificates, sea service records, vessel details, and rank history that you enter into the app.
• Device information — device type, operating system version, and a unique device identifier for sync and push notifications.

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Wave service, including offline sync.
• Send certificate expiry reminders and contract notifications you have enabled.
• Generate exportable sea service summaries at your request.
• Improve and develop new features based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud infrastructure when a connection is available. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only when:

• You explicitly export or share your records (e.g., PDF export).
• Required by law or to comply with a valid legal process.
• Necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

5. Your Rights

You can:

• Access, update, or delete your personal data from within the app.
• Request a full export of your data by contacting us.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Wave is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
